Grandma Ong Dried Spicy Shrimp Pan Mee
You no longer need to knead dough, pull noodles by hand, mix sauces, or worry about getting the flavour wrong — and no more sweating it out in the kitchen. Now, simply bring water to a boil, cook the noodles for 6 minutes, add the seasonings, and you can enjoy a bowl of dry Pan Mee just like the one served at Grandma Ong’s shop.
You can also customise your bowl by adding your favourite ingredients such as meatballs, cheese tofu, mani cai (tree spinach), or soft-boiled or fully cooked eggs. One bowl is pure comfort and indulgence — truly a little taste of heaven.
Grandma Ong’s signature dry Pan Mee uses healthy air-dried noodles, paired with house-made dried shrimp chilli, dark soy sauce, and crispy fried anchovies (ikan bilis). This combination allows you to enjoy the authentic Grandma Ong flavour quickly and easily at home.
An extra packet of dried shrimp chilli is included for chilli lovers who prefer an extra kick.
Each pack contains:
Air-dried Pan Mee noodles (thick flat noodles)
Fried anchovies (ikan bilis) – 5g
Dark soy sauce
Dried shrimp chilli – 10g (extra packet)
Cooking Instructions:
Bring 400ml of water to a boil.
Add noodles and cook for 6 minutes.
Remove noodles and drain well.
Add dark soy sauce and fried anchovies.
Add dried shrimp chilli according to taste.
Add an egg if desired.
Ready to serve — enjoy 😋
